You've peppered your poem with P's!
ReplyDeleteI like this a lot.
ReplyDeleteHello Gemma girl and I have to laugh at MMT's comment about the peppered poem ! LOL .. subtle yet totally on cue ? ;-)

Hi Gemma,
ReplyDeleteNo rain at all? Hope it will rain soon to water your lawn §:-)
But looking on that chess board, nothing can bet the beauty of the sun & shadows.
Happy Sunday when You wake up.
Greetings,
/CC girl
Gosto desses jogos em formato gigante...lindo o desenho das sombras sobre ele. Um abraço!
ReplyDeletei will play!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope that these checker pieces are not made of concrete - it would be difficult to stay 'King Me' and actually move these from square to square...
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun shadow shot for the day!!
ReplyDeleteOh, me! Oh, my! What an enchanting image! Makes you want to 'play'! Not to mention the 'coolness' factor.
ReplyDeleteGame on! Love it.
ReplyDeletecool game!
ReplyDeleteLove your alliteration, Gemma.
I've heard of "Draughts" before - but never have I seen the game visualized before! Especially outdoors, with lots & lots of shadows.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun checker board. :)
ReplyDeletepositively perfect poem and photo!
ReplyDeleteThat's one big game of checkers! Great Shot!
ReplyDeleteIt may mean the same thing, but in Texas, that would be a giant checkerboard.
ReplyDeleteNice shadows on the checker board and awesome haiku to follow up.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted a big game like that in my garden. Love the photo.
ReplyDeleteWhat a trip!
ReplyDeleteI like the play of shadows on the board. But since I'm not a great player, I'm not sure that I'd like the people around to see how poorly I play. Oh, I rather caught your 'p' bug!
ReplyDeleteis it heavy to lift/push/slide ?
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing !
That is such a neat scene! Thanks so much for hosting!
