Shadowy Flags

Gabba Gabba Hey! Shadow Shot Sunday...2!

Welcome, all, to Shadow Shot Sunday 2! Your faithful hosts are:

Magical Mystery Teacher

Rose (chubskulit)

and

Gemma Wiseman

With standby hosts: Desirae, Katerina, Suzanne, and myself, Toby! How very exciting it is to host this meme, one of my very favorites!

This past week we celebrated Israel's Independence Day, and the whole country is still adorned with flags of all shapes and sizes. We have a string of flags hanging on our balcony, and in the morning sun, they created this very festive shadow:

And here comes the haiku, naturally:

Blowing here and there

Everything seems blue and white

Good thing they're tied on!

All that's left now is for all of you to join along in the game! Just post something shadowy (and please link here when you do), and then sign up below! And don't forget to go and visit the other posts - it's fun to see shadows from all over the world!

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Shadow quote found on Rambling Woods blog:
What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset.
~ Crowfoot Tribe

NEWS FLASH!
I am seeking and collecting shadow quotes.
If you find a shadow quote, (or would like to create your own) include it in ANY of your SSS2 blog posts.
(There is now a button for shadow quotes just beneath the header. This will be a database of shadow quotes, so you will see what has been collected.)
Each time it is my turn to post on SSS2, I will include one of these quotes + a link to your blog post.
PLUS
Antonella of Quilling, Art and Expression
is offering free digi-s each week of the SSS2 quote!
Her first post is HERE
and her second is HERE!
Thank you ever so much from all the shadow catchers!

May the sunlight and shadows always be with you!
