I like those teeth!
Have a great memorial weekend everyone!
What an amazing find! Creepy and yet fascinating!
I especially like this one (and the Haiku). It reminds me of my yard during deer season, thanks to my outside dogs.
Classic object to learn to drawing!
Happy Sunday!
Great and creepy shadow shot for the day! I love it! Have a great weekend!
Oooh! I love that skull and the poem is very appropo. Did you take it home?
The elk lived a noble life we presume. Long gone, but a part of nature, perhaps the skull gives us a feeling that he left us with a smile. Ashes to ashes as it is said...
yowch- ouch.....great creepy shadow
An appropriately grim subject for a shadow meme.
Super shadow shot!!
ooh snap - I posted a skull today as well before I saw yours - love your skull shot - most evocative...
What a great shadow shot.
Awesome shot. Like the shadows. Must have been on the southern Kaibab as we don't have elk on the north.
What an awesome shot! Your haiku is perfect|!
We agree with Ralph...it does look like he was smiling :) fun shot & great haiku paired up with it MMT!!
That is something that is quite common in the deserts. Creepy in a way, yet, interesting to be found.
Interesting submission. looks very "western." Hope you all enjoy your weekend
The shadows add to the spooky quality of the skeletons in the closet shot.
Good Morning Shadowlandia...
Half passed one a.m. §;-) in Sweden and here I am still awake to post my contribution, §:-)
Cool captured.
Happy SSS...

harsh light promotes the creepiness of that skull!
Cool yet creepy, as the others said!
Love the haiku, as always. Some day I will attempt some haiku writing. ;-)
Hey— just remembered
It's time to see the dentist.
Why'd I think of that?
Nice shadow shot and haiku.
Awesome capture!
Love that shadow..so deep, dark and intreiging....We lived in the High Desert years ago, and saw a few of these interesting skulls.
Thanks for commenting on my SWF.
So, no common creepy skulls in my area. Makes this was very interesting. Very artistic in my view ... thanks!
