Seaside Shadows

A big hello everyone! It’s Tracy from Hey Harriet here and I can’t believe I’ve been out of the shadow shooting loop for so long! It sure is nice to be here this week kicking off the first SSS of this winter season! Well, it’s winter here downunder. I envy those of you on the other side of the pond enjoying lovely warm weather right now! My shadow shot for this week was taken last weekend at a north Brisbane bayside suburb called Sandgate while I was basking in the last of our autumn sunshine. As it’s been a dreary rainy week this week I sure am glad that I had that photo saved and ready to post! Anyway, I’m looking forward to doing the rounds and visiting shadow shooters this weekend and catching up with everyone. I’m also looking forward to discovering newer shadow shooters that have since joined this meme since I stopped hosting it. The new hosts sure have been doing an amazing job and it makes me so happy to see things have been continuing on so wonderfully. Ok, now hop to it & go post your shadows & link up pronto!
I want to see them all!

Cheers Tracy xo

 Your hosts are:
Magical Mystical Teacher
Rose (chubskulit)
Gemma Wiseman
and me!

May the sunlight and shadows always be with you!

O it's so good to see you here! Welcome!
Adore the tones and light in your Sandgate photo!
Hope your Sunday is a little less "rain cloud logged" than ours! And less chilly!

Hello Tracy!! The minute I saw that wonderful seaside shot in your signature style I thought of you, and of all the fabulous entries you posted every week when you were hosting. It's so good to "see" you again!

And yes, the new hosts ARE doing great, aren't they?

Yay!!!! Tracy's back!! Sure missed you. Funny how it's kind of jarring to the senses to think that it is winter somewhere else when summer is kicking in.

Welcome back!!

Nice to see sunny Brisbane again! The azure sea is as pretty as always down under...a cold rain is what we see tis morning, yet it has been warmer most of the time. Your autumn is very pretty!

Tracy girl HELLLOOOOO there !
Glad to see you and your shadow here .. our summer has turned cold and rainy for some reason .. but I know it will change yet again.
It is still very weird to think you are into winter there .. I will never get my brain wrapped around simple science ? LOL

Hi Tracy, so very good to see you back with your inimitable and distinctive shadow shots. Instant recognition! And this is a super one, too. I enjoyed the rain grumbling on your blog, also, since I feel the same way so frequently up here in Seattle. Only here it's more about just dreary clouds, nothing as exciting as real rain. Sigh. But the odd sunbreak is so nourishing on so many levels.

Don't be a stranger; come post more often, hear?

Miss you,

Sara

Just a note! I can never seem to leave a comment on GITTAN SWEDEN's blog. My comment just evaporates! I still do it each week but I don't think I am ever successful! If anyone manages to comment there, could you let her know that this is happening please? A big thank you!

The second I saw that shadow shot, I knew it was taken by you, Tracy. What a lovely surprise to see you back here!

Hey Gemma I was just over Gittan Sweden's blog and it seemed my comment vanished too! Your comment was visible though, so maybe they just magically appear while we're not watching :)

Beautiful shot even in the fall. I don't envy you having to face winter, but then I have always loved the snow. Nature always has an up side.

PS...thanks for visiting with me on SSS2!!! I wanted to come back and tell you I loved your rain share on your blog but I couldn't find a comment link. I wish WE had your rains. None here, for weeks...it's drying up around here. Send it our way please.

Welcome back, Tracy! It's so nice to see you again! I love your beach shot and the effects you've put to it. Of course, I love all your photos.
We've got rain in our little corner of coastal northern California, so I feel like I'm keeping you company. I think we're in for a very cool and wet summer. Cheers!
