winter main street at Mount Eliza on the Mornington Peninsula...
It is currently 9:30am Sunday morning...
The day is misty, rainy and 10degrees centigrade...
Yes... Winter can be cold in Australia - especially in the south...

nice chilly shadow shot!
From a desert dweller's point of view, this wintry scene looks so inviting!
I will say that right now, I am not envious of the season you have right now! Brrr...
I love photographing winter scenes- snow, ice, bare trees, but oh I do NOT like the frigid temps! That seems like quite a crowd on the sidewalk for winter. Pardon my ignorance, but do you get freezing temperatures?
I really LOVE this photo...
Soon those long shadows will be upon us here in the north. Nice photo!
Sunshine warms things up a bit. Does it seem colder in Oz this year or is it me getting older?
10 degrees is not much for Australia I agree. Our "summer" has 15 degrees C today, not much either...
nice winter day. how elegant that bench is.
It is a great shadow shot, Gemma and soon, I'm afraid, we will be trading places...:)JP
Nicely shot, the long leafless tree shadows really provide the chilly mood. I hope that street vendor was selling coffee or hot chocolate, it looks like one could use a bit of warming.
Nice little piggy. Great shot
