Cacti 'forest'

 photo AnzaBochollashadow_zps3242a95a.jpg
A stand of cholla cacti in early November, Anza-Borrego Desert, Southern California

"Forest" of cacti,
Sharp shadows grow,
Piercing the desert—
Needles of woe.

  2. Great look at a forest most will never see, the cacti look soft and approachable - much like our cat. Better not pet this furry plant too hard...it may bite back!

  14. That's such a neat photo. The foreground looks hot, but the background looks cool.

Always remember, a sign of shadows means a sign of light.
Namaste.
