Surreptitious Shadows

 photo shadowgravestones_zpsec9d7021.jpg
Shadows at day's end, Yuma Pioneer Cemetery, Yuma, Arizona

Stealing through the graveyard
Surreptitiously,
Shadows 'mid the tombstones
Sadder than the sea.

  1. What a beautiful cemetery. What's remarkable (aside from the dramatic lighting offered by the time of day) is that all the headstones are the same.
Nice shot! Nice prose (as always).

  13. Somehow that does seem so sad. I usually don't think of cemeteries as a sad place, but maybe it's the lack of lush green grass.

Always remember, a sign of shadows means a sign of light.
Namaste.
