Shadowy Portal

Through a shadowy portal,
Emerging into the light,
Even a jaded mortal
Would gasp at the holy sight!

    Nice tree - it appears to be an arch, a portal to the dry desert beyond its massive trunk. It leads us to parts unknown, as stout as a castle's wall. Very nice!
