I like the balance of tree tops and shadowed botttoms. Looks like an oasis.
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, we have mangroves on the island of Molokai-the seed pods are very good at surviving the trek across the Pacific ocean and setting root once they reach land. Once they set in, they are impossible to remove!
ReplyDeletePretty scene. My gull today would fit right in with it. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting, Gemma!
It is obviously not Summer on the bay...the birds now outnumber the humans!
ReplyDeletenever really known what mangroves looked like before
ReplyDeletelovely Mangrove and shadows to go with your perfect haiku!
ReplyDeleteHello Gemma !
ReplyDeleteThat beautiful hit of GREEN on the beach along with the pale blue of the water is so pretty as is the haiku !
Joy : )
Reposting my link as Ralph alerted me that it wasn't working!
ReplyDeleteMust have been almost high noon with those shadows directly underneath those trees. Lovely shot! :)
ReplyDeleteNOTICE!
ReplyDeleteOpenID is not working/will stop working early next year. For me it doesn't work anymore.
Could you ask people to change their comment options to URL/name.
Why? If somebody clicks my name in a comment (up left corner) it leads to my blogger page not to my actual blog.
When having URL/name option I can write my blog's name which takes people immediately to the right place. Thank you!
