  1. Nice shot! I don't think my brain will ever get used to the fact that the seasons are the 'opposite' in your neck of the woods. It's sweltering hot here!

  2. I love the pastel color scheme and the way the leaf extends beyond itself with a looming shadow.

  5. s it lies down on your deck with its red tinged stain. The autumn is often the last hint of color up here where it snows - but leafless trees exist in any winter in any hemisphere where we all dream of spring...

  7. Lovely shot. I love the long shadow the leaf is casting. Thanks for reminding me that it's fall in the southern hemisphere! It's so easy to see the world from only one perspective.

  8. Good Sunday Everyone,

Hope the autumn is still far from our summer. We are just starting to play with the sun.

    Beautiful shot.

    Happy SSS2,

  10. Isn't it interesting that a shadow isn't always a mirror image? A slight change in the angle and you have an entirely different abstract. Well done!

  12. Great shadow shot...I love how the subject flower flows right into its shadow in one, flowing almost continuos movement! We've been away for a bit, but am happy to be joining SSS2 today with a shadow shot of one of my Siberian Huskies. Happy Sunday!

Always remember, a sign of shadows means a sign of light.
Namaste.
