a nod to teachers...

I am just beginning long service leave after 10 years at my school...
(barely time to breathe over the last several weeks
with reports and preparing programmes for the teacher replacing me)...
So this feature on my wall seemed to be the right photo for this week...
I do hope I have made a positive difference to young lives...
We really are a hard-working bunch... aren't we MMT???

Welcome to the shadows of Shadow Shot Sunday!

Your hosts are:

Magical Mystical Teacher
Chubskulit Rose
Gemma Wiseman

Sometimes we're not sure that we're making any difference at all, but in the long run, we certainly do! Enjoy your service leave, Gemma!

Yes, you all are a hardworking and dedicated bunch who can never be thanked enough. We all have at least one teacher in our lives that made a difference. Thank you for stepping up to the plate!

Teachers are the greatest! My post has to do with teaching too!

Recently we had a gathering of us teachers who had taught at the parish school. It was close to even for those of who are retired and those who are teaching still but at different schools. I have friends in the water aerobics class who are also retired teachers. Funny how we're drawn to each other even when we don't know that each other were teachers! I think your wall hanging is attractive and hopefully hangs on your home wall.

Although I do not know you as the "teacher" in school, you have taught me a lot, Gemma. I imagine YOU influenced more folks than you realize!!...:)JP
