I think those slippers belong to the little mermaid-her magic spell was about to wear off and she had to go back to the sea...
A whole lot of stories to walk in.
I wonder if the wearer of these slippers left footprints in the hot sand from this point on...
this reminds me of the massive immigration going on right now from Syria..powerful words too.

Someone seems to want to leave a bit of civilisation behind and go wild for awhile.
Perhaps her Prince Charming will find her.
ouch...walking barefoot on that gravely ground would hurt...:)

potent verse- I am puzzled why they were left there since there is no rock-free sand or grass.
