Poetry is not only dream and vision;
it is the skeleton architecture of our lives.
It lays the foundations for a future of change,
a bridge across our fears
of what has
never been
before.

What a beautiful covered bridge. I don't think I've ever seen one in real life. Funny, huh?
I also want to take this moment to thank the three of you for being so faithful in keeping this meme alive. I know that it takes time to do. Thank you so much for continuing on with it. It is always a bright spot in my life each week.
In case Mr. Linky doesn't show up, here's my link:

Covered bridges always remind me of Bette Davis' movie "Harvest Home". A beautifully maintained bridge.
I love the fact that this covered bridge has survived time. Beautiful color and amazing environs!

This is beautiful and historic. There are a few covered bridges still in use in New England, and we who are used to easily crossing modern steel and concrete bridges tend to forget how hard it was to cross a river in those days. A nice survivor in its usual barn red paint...
It won't let me link on the front page, says I am already linked but I'm not. http://www.looseleafnotes.com/2014/11/the-sea-side-2/
I love covered bridges...so much history! Cheers!
Super shadow shot. Love the crispness of the shadow, plus extra points for the nostalgic content!
Reminds me always at the Bridges of Madison County, lovely shadow.
Tis quaint and lovely shadows and all.
We used to spend a lot of time near Bedford, PA. We got to see a lot of covered bridges. They were unique and quaint. I like your photo of the covered bridge at Hanover Park.
Nice bridge!
SWEET pic...the sun was perfect!...:)JP
A bit late this week but appropriate for the time. Love your covered bridge shot. They do make a great canvas for a shadow shot!
