Shadowy wash

Shadowy wash photo Sonoranshadowwash_zpsb71938f7.jpg
Shadowy wash, Sonoran Desert, Southern Arizona

Shadows in the deep wash,
Cloud puffs in the sky,
Wandering at noonday,
But I wonder why...

Ummmm.....because they can!

Such a wonderful and typical monsoony kind sky, if you ask me.

Looking at the shadow alone, we could be in the Grand Canyon...a shady shadow that brings cool relief :)

I really like seeing a wadi with its shadows. I've never seen one in person, but I think that this angle shows how beautiful the desert can be.
