I like it
ReplyDeletemore daylight now- less time for candlelight! Lovely image and poem!
ReplyDeleteVery deep-even if it may not been intended that way. Reminds me of the reading about the maidens and their oils lamps and how they needed to be ready even in the wee hours of the night.
ReplyDeleteIt made lots of creative shadows.
ReplyDeleteThe shadow of the lantern looks like a miniature lighthouse, love it! Ah, here in Indiana, we must remember to set our clocks one hour forward tonight, lest we miss church and other important events in our lives.
ReplyDeleteA lantern that shines a shadow. Cool.
ReplyDeleteThis lamp needs no candlepower as the sun illumines the scene. Almost as a film negative of its being lit at night. Shadows that fall nicely over a 24 hour day...
ReplyDeleteOh, but it won't be empty for long! Even empty things create shadows, ..:)JP
ReplyDeleteSunlight looks so good to me. I was thinking that this image might look good in black and white, too.
ReplyDeleteinteresting shadow !
