Thousands of lives were lost
Thousands of families are left homeless
Thousands are struggling to come back up
But with all your help and prayers,
we will get through, thank you!

Yes, I echo Rose's sentiment! Thank you to all who have helped in some way. And, if you haven't, it's not too late. Whether it's through the Red Cross or the Catholic Church (in the U. S., they've taken up a special collection and this money does go directly to help-the church does not take a percentage from this kind of collection).
AND, a very BIG thank you to our incredible trio of SSS hosts, MMT, Rose and Gemma!! Without their effort and dedication, we would all be shadow drifters! Thank, thank you, thank you!
I just can't imagine what they are going through and what their future holds.
Thank goodness for dedicated people who are able to help out in times of need.
Nice post.

Nature can be cruel - we do need to have faith and pray a lot to alleviate the suffering of the Filipino people. That the pain and loss can be handled and assistance to continue as long as possible...that blessings can be bestowed upon the grieving peoples...
yes we are organising here a contribution via the Red Cross..Greetings from the Riviera
I pray each night for these loving people. May the donations that we send reach those who are in need.
We humans show our best side when helping others- putting aside petty issues ...wonderful post- so very thoughtful.
Only last night I saw an amazing video of a very young Filipino boy carrying a baby girl. He just wanted to protect her from the hordes of people lining up to get food. The boy and girl were not related. It was heart-breaking to see. But the little man was a big hero.
such disasters make us all humble
A good friend has many family members there...they all survived, but sadly lost everything....:)JP
That's such a moving photo with the shadow behind the crucifix. God bless the people affected by disasters.
We are still recovering from Hurricane Sandy (a year ago) here in NYC, so I have some small idea of what you must be going through. My thoughts, prayers, and support are with you all.
thank you too for reminding us about this tragedy !
My heartfelt goes to all my people. Myself was relieved knowing my sister and her children and grandchildren survived.
God is good.
Thank You my World for sharing your heart with us.
