Prayer

Let's say a little prayer for the  Massachusetts Math  teacher who was murdered  by a student in Danvers High School.  A little prayer can bring the family some comfort in the time of grief.

  7. Colleen, there have been two shootings this week, one a teacher who'd served in the Marines and the young woman teacher. I think prayers are needed for our society to step up a way to diagnose this young people who think the only way to solve problems is to kill others. When it happens in schools, it's especially tragic.

  9. The darkness of the soul seems to overwhelm us with nary an end in sight. Yet, the smallest flame, however flickering, overwhelms the darkness and gives us a sense of hope. As if the flame really shows us that love can conquer the worst of the darkness. We need to have that hope to overcome evil...

(The demolition of that school building has begun this week. We hope and pray for a new beginning where the flame of love will shine brightly)

  10. I have just enjoyed Ralph's beautiful comment. A difficult act to follow. So I will refer to the photo itself. A beautiful appeal for community prayers and hope and support.
