With Peter Pan shadows, they surely can fly.
The larger bird, the pigeon, looks as though s/he might be waddling!

kind of a Mutt and Jeff couple! BTW for those not of advanced age, Mutt and Jeff were comic strip characters in the newspapers loooong ago! Jeff was the taller one, and Mutt was short. They were around for a very long time (1907-1982).
