Through a Tunnel

Joyce Tower, Sandycove photo Dublin2012-131256a_zps41943d5c.jpg
The Tower, James Joyce Museum, Sandycove, County Dublin, Ireland

Through a tunnel dark and drear,
Peering into light;
Hedges, rooftops, windowpanes—
Magical the sight!

It seems the darkest when we look and look and still cannot see. Yet, light will appear after the darkest hour as e wet closer and closer to our destination...home beckons all of us...

Wonderful words to liven our minds to what is possible to see through a contrasting dark tunnel .. light and life at the other end : )

The rugged shadowy greys of the tunnel beautifully frame the cameo of colour and light!
