Marble Shadows

Gabba Gabba Hey! Shadow Shot Sunday...2!

Welcome, all, to Shadow Shot Sunday 2! Your faithful hosts are:
and

And myself, Toby, here today as a standby host - it's always exciting it is for me to host this meme, one of my old favorites!

Here are some fun shadows that I found inside our house, a few weeks ago:

I know that the custom here at SSS2 is to provide a haiku, so here goes nothing:

standing tall and proud
playful yet so serious
ready for action!

By the way, if any of you out there are interested in being a standby host, let us know in the comments - I know that new hosts are always welcome! It's easy, and a lot of fun!

There you have it! All that's left now is for all of you to join along in the shadow catching game. Just post something shadowy (and please link here when you do), and then sign up below. And don't forget to go and visit the other posts - it's fun to see shadows from all over the world!

Happy Sunday, everyone!

  20. Solid, stolid blocks;
    Marble granite or onyx;
    Ready for battle.

    [I just wanted an excuse to say "onyx." Like your haiku very much.]

    Cheers!

Always remember, a sign of shadows means a sign of light.
Namaste.
