Shadow Shot Sunday - Shadows and Gold

This lady appears in Melbourne by the Yarra River each summer holidays.
She creates a very still, gold mime, with just a hint of movement - maybe a wink, maybe a slightly changing smile, maybe a very very slow turn.
Here she represents the tennis season currently happening in Melbourne.
And many people love to be photographed with her.

O silent lady
Are you longing to break free
From your coat of gold

Shadow quote from Red Nomad and her Amazing Australian Adventures blog:
Celebrate life in the half light...

Welcome to the new world of Shadow Shot Sunday!

Your hosts are:
Magical Mystical Teacher
Rose (a.k.a. chubskulit)
Gemma Wiseman

DON'T FORGET!
I am seeking and collecting shadow quotes.
If you find a shadow quote, (or would like to create your own) include it in ANY of your SSS2 blog posts.
(There is now a button for shadow quotes just beneath the header. This will be a database of shadow quotes, so you will see what has been collected.)
Each time it is my turn to post on SSS2, I will include one of these quotes + a link to your blog post.

May the sunlight and shadows always be with you!

I think you have to be very good at being still to be a mime. I always admire that ability.

Love the Shadow Shot! Also love your sweet words.
Been so long since I've been here, I missed the entire changeover. Please tell me if I didn't do something correctly. In the meantime, great to be back. I'll get to visiting blogs tonight and tomorrow. Peace to all.

I have seen different ones doing this in malls. I never could understand how they could be so still. I would need to scratch something.

I get a kick out of living statues. The majority of them here in NYC seem to be Statues of Liberty (makes sense, but it's hard to hold your arm up like that for a long time).

gorgeous shot. What I don´t understans is how they manage to stand still like that. I know I couldn´t.

Super shot! I think that it's amazing how still they can stand!
I've added my shadow "shot," but it's in my painting. Hope that that's okay.
