Gemma is this your shot ? It made me smile BIG time when I saw it .. and yes! it is so important to help bee colonies survive and grow ... as a gardener, I really get that need!
Joy : )
Great shot = BIG *SMILE*
to bee or not to bee...
I agree with Joy, in order to breathe in the wonders of a garden...we need the bees.
I love public art and I especially love the public art from 'down under' as there often seems to be an element of whimsy! Thank you for sharing this! Not to mention the cool shadow that it cast...
Fun and surprising. It tells a story. Has one fallen or is it climbing up.
I do love your big bees! What a fun post for the day, Gemma!!
bzzzzzzzzzz...

I have a feeling I've seen those bees before.
My gosh those are amazingly large bees! I would hate to run into those! :) I just posted.
Really fine composition. Strong, simple colors. But what a fanciful subject! Big bees!
The bees are cool and BIG!
110,000 anodized rivets holding these bees together!!! Amazing.
My niece is living in (and loving) Melbourne right now—I must ask her if she's seen this witty artwork!
Love the big bees!
That is so very cool Gemma!! I love it.
Wow ! You have caught the shadow right at the good moment !
fun and fantastic
much love...
I am glad for what bees do for our survival, but I'm ecstatic that they are not really this big.
AWESOME-- I'm finally back and will be visiting all soon. Real Life you know- gets in the way of what's really important- Like SSSII!
Love you all!

I'm an advocate of bees and what they do for us yet this really puts their importance into perspective!...:)JP
I have seen a lot of bees but none like these. Very interesting. I am honored you took the time to drop by for a visit.
Great shadow shot! So different and unique! And great coinciding poem! I am happy to be back participating in Shadow Shot Sunday once again! I've been away for awhile, but am so glad to be back and featuring a holiday shadow shot with one of our Huskies. :-)
