Today is New Year's Day!
It seems to symbolise new walkways, new journeys, new lifecycles.
We always hope for the sunshine of happiness

The view is of Dromana pier reaching out to Port Phillip Bay.
And Mount Martha is in the background.

Santa seems a tad exhausted!
Here he is snatching a nap in a comfy chair at Mornington.
Outside, the sun has risen.
Even the shadows of the walkway are reflecting in the shop window.
But Santa sleeps on!
Sweet dreams, Santa!

NOTE: It is now Christmas morning in Australia!
Perhaps he is catching a nap before his northern run!
